WHY TINT YOUR CAR WINDOWS

1)  Privacy

Tinting your car windows will keep out those inquisitive eyes so you and your belongings will be safer, while still allowing the driver to clearly see out. Window Tinting will help lone women drivers feel less vulnerable especially if travelling in unfamiliar areas with children or on long journeys.

2) Window tinting for your children

If you are a parent or guardian you understand know how children get restless and agitated when they are too hot in a car. Window tinting will keep your kids cool and comfortable and protect the skin against harmful (UV) rays, on of the causes of skin cancer. Sun shades like the one above are not effective as they still allow sun rays at different angles and they also make it impossible to roll down the windows. Your child will also be safe  in the event of an accident from the risk of bits of flying glass. Window Film will hold the glass in place when broken and sun shades cannot offer that.

3) Security

Window tinting will protect your property from the prying eyes of thieves. Car thefts are normally carried out by opportunists who will expect the window to smash and fall into the car so that they can grab and run. If they cant see your belongings due to the window film they wont take the risk of  attempting to break in. . Automotive security film can slow the access to your vehicle's interior by helping to hold broken glass in place. This increases the time needed to break in, causing additional noise and delay to attract unwanted attention to the thief.

4) For your dog/s

When it is just 19º  outside, the temperature inside a car can reach up to  to 44º C  or higher.Leaving a window open or sun-shield on your windows won't keep your car cool enough for your dog. So think of your dog. We recommend 20% tint (Factory tint).

5) Safety

Our Window tint film has anti-shatter properties that  will strengthen the glass and hold any broken shards in place if it does break due to accident¸ theft or if you break in d to lost keys.  It’s always easy to replace the glass but if will take forever to clean the glass debri which can be a hazard to the passengers. Factory tint from  the dealership does not offer any of this protection  and it is also an expensive  option so for a quarter of the price you pay for the option at a dealership you get more protection.

6) For Comfort

Window tinting will block up to 99% of the sun's harmful ultra violet (UV) rays. It will keep you cool and minimise sun and headlight glare to help reduce the fatigue on your eyes - making your drive more comfortable.

7) For Protection

Leather Interior's Number One Enemy is UV Rays from The Sun!
Real, or blended, the sun's harmful UV rays are what breaks down the leather product causing unsightly fading and cracking.  And also Sun’s Glare can cause reflections on modern day cars’ enormous screens making them impossible to view. The best way to protect your vehicles leather interior and reducing the Glare is by implementing window tint.

POST TINT ADVICE

1 Rolling down of windows

We ask our customers to refrain from opening any freshly tinted windows for 3 days after installation to allow time for the adhesive to bond and prevent the film from peeling.

2 Water Bubbles

It is perfectly normal for water bubbles to appear in the first few days after installation. This is where remaining residue from the mounting solution (trapped between the film and the glass) congregates to form bubbles. This is all part of the drying process, do not be tempted to push at the bubbles as this can cause the film to distort. Simply leave them to evaporate naturally and the film will then sit against the glass perfectly.

 3 Dot Matrix

Most vehicles have a black ceramic “frit” edge on the rear window and on occasion also on the side windows. In some cases the ceramic edge is straight and flat and in others it will have a dotted edge, often referred to as “Dot Matrix”. These raised black ceramic dots prevent the window film from bonding in the gaps between them. This will result in the appearance of a 'trim’ surrounding the glass. How pronounced the trim is will be dictated by the width of the ceramic dots, and is unavoidable.
